Seeing our quadruped friends run around can be annoying if they get into things like your garbage, your birdbath water, and such. However, they have one of the ultimate skills anywhere therein or thereof the planet. Their nose. Oh yeah, their nose, if trained, and breed dependent, can save lives. Dogs can detect certain cancers, tumors, and other internal ailments we or medical devices miss. Still this is far from the ultimate skill they possess. That dog’s nose, possess the ability to bring joy. I would ask you to think about it, but honestly, you don’t have to. In general, when you look at a dog run around and hear it bark, you’re not 100% affected by our worldly peer, but when that same dog stops and looks at you, and you see that nose, you melt into a puddle. It’s a total joy-fest. Not just I, but people I knew who were not the greatest dog lovers, would see our furrier counterparts and scoff. When I’d point out what they are not focusing on, which was the nose, they thought of me of silly. Back in those days, I was really testing the social guillotine when bringing it up. When we got close to the dog, and I told them to look at that nose, they had to look away to maintain their vitriol about what angered them. “Man, why you don’t want me to be mad?” That question was asked enough. I told them that it wasn’t me. It was the cutest nose around, and if they just accepted the doggy nose for the greatness it is, they would…
