Reply to a Medium Topic on Cheating

This response came from a guy who inadvertently expressed a bias on the topic of men and women cheating, and whose to blame. After a couple of exchanges, he pointed out TED Talk, a show of some kind that cited that the difference between men and women cheating, is that women do not get caught. I took issue with TED Talk’s claim, and this is my reply. My co-host explained a tiny bit of TED Talk. I will understand further later, but my retort does not alter as it still fits the subject.

Never heard of TED Talk. I’m glad now. The difference should never be about who gets caught. It should be about social dignity. Women get caught just as much as men. It’s what gets reported that is the difference. Women will say men know nothing about rape, considering they are men and thoughtless. Women do not want to know or admit the truth because it would kill their narrative. Men get raped in prison, at home, and every single day they must act/behave in a direct and particular way in the eyes of their environment. Women can cry, rage, attack, lie, steal and be seen as the victim at each baby step of the way. Men must be the opposite. For example, and I hope you don’t mind me using you and your medium name, but, you can’t be Syed, you must be a MAN. You must be strong, nothing phases you, and no one can get to you. You must brush off insults, and pretend no woman can hurt you. Everything that happened in the past doesn’t wound you, because… “WHATEVERRRR”. A woman goes through the same thing, but she can show that she’s hurt and gain comfort, ask for it, and bask in it; even use it as a crutch. If a guy wants to be comforted…. he’s not seen as a male any longer. If forgoing your true identity isn’t rape, then the whole definition must be changed. This is no different than cheating. A woman can cheat on a good person, and as soon as she rages out, she’s the victim. The other party, no matter what, is the villain. Women get caught cheating all the time. Society simply turns its back because… in pure honesty…. which gender chases which for sex? I think you know the answer. Trust this: It doesn’t have to be the opposite sex. Even in same-sex situations, commonly, the prettiest of the two takes on the mask of the helpless, emotionally distressed female. This is why my true call is honesty and true equality.

A catch-all topic based channel without restraint. I’m about shedding light through the fog using compare & contrast, mixed with reasoning, and personal views.
