A buzz topic going around is white privilege. What is it? It’s simply the fact that being Caucasian allows the ability to live your life without the thought of being oppressed by another race or never having to fear being killed by cops. By simply being Caucasian, one can apply for higher paying jobs, be seen on TV in abundance and be able to complain about diversity of minorities on TV, despite the 2% overall that actually appear there. White privilege is the ability to see a black man as a co-lead in a dominant white movie, and espouse with great declaration about white genocide, without being persecuted by expressing such bigotry and stupidity. Finally, and before swinging this in the opposite direction, white privilege is when the nation’s primary leaders are Caucasian, and when a single solitary black man obtains said role for 8 years out of nearly 362, suddenly, it is just as much proof that there hasn’t been any racism, while racists take social media by storm. I could go into the justice system, the policing of blacks and more, but I think I’ve expressed what White Privilege is. Now, for what I really want to talk about.

With this much talk of White Privilege, it is (if not already has) giving a full-on excuse for black people to be mentally lazy and unaccountable for their own circumstances. Black people don’t have the luxury of getting a 10K loan from a bank just because they smile, look good and seem like a nice person. While in most cases, a white woman can be exploited and climb the ladder of success with sex, women of color use sex to get out of trouble. With tons of talk of the Asian, or black community, we have no community. Where is the next Tulsa without the racial destruction thereof? Gerrymandering is used to keep black people from voting for certain higher end districts, and it bugs me that black people have not chosen to use that to create their own district. Using hatred for your own gain use to be what all people of color did. Mexicans could not use white banks, so they made their own. Mexicans live in clusters and so far as I’ve seen, they financially help their own in ways black people just dislike doing.

For example, instead of, “Get the hell out my house at 18” why not just show some love, support, and let your kids know, that the only home they have, is the home they can return to, by not throwing them out, but letting them leave because they are curious? Why do we chastise people of similar ages for living with those who they love? Not only do parents inspire to remove their kids from their lives, but their kid’s friends boast that sentiment by shaming them. If the home was made so no one had to leave, and everyone who had a job chipped in to pay the bills without wasting resources, there would be a surplus in all incomes of that household. Three or four incomes of 400 bucks bi-weekly takes care of mortgages, car notes, and everything else. Instead, black people push out those incomes and complain that they don’t have enough income.

A major complaint is the steady to speedy erasure of jobs; especially for those for black people. While Asians are pigeon-holed to Chinese and Japanese buffets and authentic food restaurants, black people are pigeon-holed to incarceration, the military, going to school just to go, yard work, and hustling their own in legal, half-legal, and illegal ways to make ends-meet. Why can’t black people make the jobs and expand said jobs with interests outside the pigeon-holed boxes based on belief and the dismay of their white counterparts. For verbal example: “Black people don’t <insert the rest>”, “That’s what white people do. We don’t do that.” “You on something crazy, you best get out there and work.” Arguments in that light are what stunt the growth of black people worldwide. Don’t get me wrong, that rhetoric is within all racial confines, even white people. The difference is: White people can fight their parents and make it to a high degree. Black people (not in particular) are shut down by their own and are sure to not gain the aid they need outside of their communities.

There are black people who are into swords, knives, daggers, dragons, hair styling, shoe making, farming, fashion for all genders, or finding ways to help the LGBTQA rise and obtain equality, the very equality black people strive so hard to gain. The zones of interest don’t end there. There are black people who are interested in drag, drag racing, stockcar racing, R/C racing, toys, home design and more. While school can be a great way to get into that, most don’t have the money, time, or patience for that system. They would do best as an apprentice, and learn on the job from ground up, having hands-on-experience as they grow in their field-of-interest. If such a thing did take place, what would happen? That job, business, or trade would try to get on the publicly traded market, instead of being kept in that community. While this is a form of segregation it is also a route to giving power to minorities and getting them to follow their calling in life. There are no stock market trades that need to take place. Just a legitimate business that accepts money from all walks of life, without saying, “no” because of the color of anyone’s skin, or their political, or religious background. Just business, and letting people who enjoy such a thing, enjoy it. Black people all know, what black people create, white people will assimilate and make their own. Then, black people must leave their communities to venture out to expensive land and break their bank to ask for said product.

For me, seeing white people and black people join together in ventures of interest, working together with other minorities in a community that usually left for dead, would aid in the destruction of racism, and the systemic racism as the mindset of, “Join us, or leave us” holds strong. If you want in, you have to dump your racism or cover it up like it was in the mid 1980's.

Yes, I know this all sounds bad, that I’m against black people and yet, that is not it. People act a fool all the time, and yet, there are two things that stop it: Someone of high authority is nearby, or someone stands a mirror in front of them, so they can see how mindlessly they are portraying themselves. I’m no authority and this is not really a mirror, but it is a form of a reflective surface. Like water, we can look at it and see what looks back. I think we need to do that, and alter what has become, instead of being crabs, and keeping free-thinkers from going ashore.
